The history of Labour College
The Labour College of East Africa (LCEA) is a prominent educational institution in Uganda, dedicated to providing specialized training in labor relations, workers’ rights, and social justice. Established by Hon. Arinaitwe Rwakajara, a Workers’ Member of Parliament, the college was founded to bridge the gap in labor education and empower individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to advocate for workers’ rights and contribute to the labor movement in East Africa.
LCEA offers a comprehensive curriculum that encompasses various aspects of labor studies, including labor laws, trade unionism, social protection, and financial literacy. The college is actively involved in community engagement and capacity building, often collaborating with organizations like the National Organization of Trade Unions (NOTU) to organize events such as youth camps and training sessions aimed at equipping young people with vital knowledge in union matters and the labor movement.

I would highly recommend Michael Richard to anyone interested the subject matter. It has provided me with invaluable knowledge & a newfound passion topic. My only suggestion would be to add more live.
